Why should you buy my art? From a customer’s perspective, I have learned that people will not buy art without a compelling reason.
A photograph may give the viewer a positive, pleasant feeling such as calmness, excitement, or fond memories of their past. Another reason is how the image you love will enhance your personal space, at home or in your office.
I believe in the message in this quote from Pablo Picasso. “The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls”.
Lee, as a photographic artist, prides himself on the use of color, composition, and craftsmanship to produce the finest quality images, printed on a variety of archival grade media, such as high-quality papers, Canvas Wraps, Acrylic, or Aluminum. Images are printed with pigment inks in a wide variety of sizes. The final product should last 100 or more years if properly taken care of.
One of Lee’s goals is to share the beauty he has been fortunate enough to see in his travels, around the USA, and internationally. Another is to present his photographs with the impact that gives his viewers, the same emotional feeling that he had when taking the photographs. His final goal is to have his customers own the highest quality images he can produce.
Lee Loventhal is a well-trained, experienced professional photographer, and has been at his craft now for nine years. Having a long-standing interest in photography, he finally had time to pursue it, after selling his successful Industrial Plastics Recycling business, in 2007. He then began taking classes from professionals at the In Focus Learning Center. The classes were in technical use of camera mechanics. Composition, and photo design. Later he learned photo editing in Photoshop. More recently he took a complete photography course presented by Joel Sartore, a well know National Geographic Photographer.
Lee has shown his work now for several years, in three San Diego galleries. He had the honor of being juried into the prestigious international, “Best of Nature Show” at the Ordover Gallery in San Diego. His showpiece was a photo he took on Safari in Botswana, Africa. The image is of a “vigilant” Cheetah. Lee looks forward to sharing his photographic art with you.
